Magical Rainbow boosts for Fibromyalgia

Getting my five a day is something I struggle with so much since fibromyalgia. It is not because I do not like fruit and veg, I really do, but my taste buds have changed dramatically since being unwell. Bland food appeals to me more now. By the time evening arrives I am often not in the mood for a plate of vegetables as I am battling fatigue.

I know it is very much a vicious cycle as this is the time when super foods would boost my energy levels but it is tough to build enthusiasm.

Logic tells us a large helping of rainbow magic is just what we all need to help with fatigue, but our body sometimes refuses.

This is the reason that I have a Nutri bullet smoothie daily. In one large drink I know I am getting all the nutrients I need and also no nutrients have been lost during cooking. I honestly can not recommend it enough as an essential to all chronic illness/fibromyalgia people.

Once a week my sons chop up veg and fruit and put them into separate freezer bags.

This then makes life so much easier and takes away the preparation. All that needs to be done is remove a bag from the freezer each day.

The guilt is removed at meal times and as I know that any extra fruit and veg is simply a bonus.

I also have a fruit infuser water bottle. It is super! Another simple way to get some vitamins inside with minimal effort. The one I use is from Wilko (UK Shop) £1.50

5 Benefits of Lemon Water:

Plus did you know the scent of a lemon has been found to reduce stress levels and improve moods?
Self-care plays such an important role so small simple things like this can all add up as great management for Fibromyalgia.
Do you enjoy smoothies as a way of getting nutrients fast?
Love and gentle hugs xx
